About the Role
As a Systems Operations Engineer, you will consult on complex, large-scale initiatives that impact systems operations engineering. You’ll analyze and resolve multi-faceted challenges requiring deep technical expertise and strategic thinking. This role involves collaborating with client personnel to ensure compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide technical systems support for applications, systems, databases, and related technologies.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and restore service or data using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Participate in system migrations, upgrades, installations, and configurations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and assist with training initiatives.
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues using established guidelines.
- Write and execute test scripts to validate system functionality.
- Maintain change and issue logs; analyze performance trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Review changes for risk to production systems and support business continuity planning.
- Experience: 5 years in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
- Strong understanding of systems operations, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience with large-scale systems operations and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and performance analysis.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
