RDC Engineering Associate

Pay or shift range: $54,000 CAD to $76,000 CAD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

We're currently seeking an candidate for RDC Engineering who will report directly to the RDC and Samples Supervisor. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on with laboratory work and technical reporting, serving as a contributor to product and process development.

• Executeatleastthreemajorprojectsacrossallquarters,ensuringtimelyprogressandcompletion.
• Preparetestplansandconductin-houselaboratoryexperimentsusingthe
  
  TestFrame,Drop Tower,Prototyping Press,Samples Press,andotherequipment.
• Sharepreliminarykeyresultsandobservationswith Pliteq Stakeholders
• Produce,testandwritetechnicalsummaries/reportswith"nextstep"recommendations.
• Producesamplesofcustomproductsorformulations.
• Assistoperationswithmanufacturingprocessdevelopmentasitpertainstonewproducts.
• Managetestingatthirdpartylaboratoriesincludingtraveltolaboratoriestowitnessconstructionandtesting.
• Stepinwhenneededtocoverforastaffmember
• Maintainprofessionalandtechnicalknowledgebyattendingeducationalworkshops,reviewingprofessionalpublications,benchmarkingstate-of-the-art practices,andparticipatinginprofessionalsocieties.
• Performotherjob-relateddutiesasassigned.
