Senior Telecommunications Engineer

Job Title: Senior Telecom Engineer – Onshore

Location: Bergen, Norway (available for site visits/work locally)

Employment: Long-term contract

Our client is a leading EPC company providing services to the energy industry. The company delivers across the full lifecycle of energy assets, including concept development, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and maintenance.

Main tasks as outlined in the PEM role description,
Discipline Engineer – Telecom
:

• Perform all required activities related to the global design phase within Telecom as a Discipline Engineer.
• Perform all required activities related to the detailed design phase within Telecom as a Discipline Engineer.
• Create work packages within Telecom as a Discipline Engineer.
• Carry out follow-up and as-built activities within Telecom as a Discipline Engineer.
• Act as Deputy Discipline Lead within Telecom when required.

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an engineer.
• Relevant experience and broad knowledge of Telecommunications deliverables for the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
• Knowledge of technical requirements and NORSOK standards.
• Network design skills, including fibre optic and network cabling.
• Installation experience.

• Accurate, organised, and service-minded.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to understand and follow project activity schedules.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to motivate others.

• Ex Basic & Exi Basic training.
• FSE certification.
• Offshore Safety Training (GSK).

• Project-specific software.
• Procosys.
• STID.
