ABM Industries seeks an Energy Project Developer to identify, design, and develop facility energy projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and aviation clients. You will perform site assessments, analyze utility data, model savings, and create technical and financial proposals for efficiency, sustainability, and infrastructure upgrades. Partnering with sales, engineering, and operations, you'll build scopes, budgets, and timelines, support RFP responses, and guide projects from concept to award while promoting safe, reliable, and sustainable building performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop energy efficiency and infrastructure upgrade projects for client facilities.
- Conduct site assessments and energy audits to evaluate building systems and usage.
- Analyze utility data and perform energy and financial modeling to estimate savings and ROI.
- Develop technical scopes of work, budgets, and timelines for proposed projects.
- Prepare and present proposals and RFP responses in partnership with sales and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to validate solutions and pricing.
- Support clients in understanding project benefits, risks, and implementation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and sustainability goals.
- Track and document assumptions, calculations, and project development milestones.
- Stay current on energy technologies, incentives, and regulatory requirements.
