Finance Manager – Strategy and Transformation

• Set the framework for successful execution of the global transformation
• Work with the Steering Committee and Program Leadership
• Provide financial guidance to the IM Supply Chain Steering Committee, functions, platforms, and Network Lead
• Deliver reporting, analytics, and strategic insights for transformation initiatives
• Connect end-to-end execution across Innovative Medicine Supply Chain and R&D to measurable financial impact and enterprise value creation
• Develop the financial narrative and strategic insights connecting transformation initiatives to long‑term priorities
• Support transformation efforts involving JJIM Gross Margin, profitability, Portfolio optimization, and Network optimization
• Guide Business Partners in assessing initiative impacts against the business plan and recommend mitigating actions
• Partner with Supply Chain Development, MTO, PES, Network Strategy, Tax Planning, and IMPO on optimized product physical and financial flows
• Lead finance alignments with Innovative Medicine R&D and Commercial finance and business partners
• Align investment funding, identify product cost drivers, apply accounting standards, and prepare ad hoc scenario analyses
• Support development of an audit-proof system for transformation-related costs
• Help manage the transformation budget and accurately report accounting items
• Maintain relationships with SC, R&D, and Group Finance
• Deliver required data on time and provide direction to the global Transformation Finance community
• Own outcome measurements and resource optimization
• Support internal and external audits

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required
• A minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally in a global matrix environment, required
• Experience supporting high-value strategic projects and providing insights and analytics required
• Proven history of collaborating across functional areas to deliver results required
• Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, gain alignment, and drive decision-making required
• Advanced knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Internal Controls, and Worldwide Financial Procedures required
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, required
• Proven track record of driving and executing innovation projects required
• Focus on executing and delivering commitments with high attention to detail required
• Problem-solving skills and tenacity to learn, analyze, and resolve complex situations required
  
  Capability to work through ambiguity required
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%, including some weekend travel
• Master’s Degree and/or CPA or CMA preferred

Demonstrates advanced knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting while effectively collaborating across functional areas to drive strategic transformation initiatives. Proven ability to manage complex projects, deliver insights, and optimize financial performance in a global matrix environment.
