  • Serve as the firm's subject matter expert on Chapter 3/Chapter 4 (FATCA) withholding, documentation requirements (Forms W‑8), and nonresident client tax reporting matters.
  • Support 1099 series year-end reporting as a secondary responsibility, ensuring compliance with domestic IRS reporting requirements.

  • Partner across business, operations, technology, and external stakeholders to support 1042‑S reporting initiatives, resolve complex issues, and provide tax reporting guidance to internal partners and clients.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and strategic initiatives impacting tax operations.
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of financial services operations experience, with significant expertise in non‑resident alien withholding and Form 1042‑S reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Form 1042‑S, Chapter 3/Chapter 4 (FATCA) withholding rules, tax treaty benefits, Form W‑8 documentation validation, and IRS reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Form 1099 series reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with working knowledge of SQL and VBA (a plus).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
