- Lead enterprise identification and assessment of emerging financial crime threats, typologies, and illicit finance risks
- Direct relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to enhance intelligence sharing and public-private collaboration
- Translate internal and external intelligence into actionable threat assessments, targeted risk analyses, and strategic recommendations
- Advise senior executives and governance forums on significant financial crime threats, regulatory developments, and emerging risk trends
- Drive enhancements to financial crime prevention, detection, monitoring, and surveillance capabilities
- Oversee financial crime risk governance activities, including reporting, issue management, remediation oversight, and escalation
- Review and challenge risk management frameworks, controls, assessments, and coverage strategies for financial crime and sanctions risks
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Global Financial Crimes, Compliance, Operational Risk, or related risk management disciplines
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial crime risks through threat detection, monitoring, and investigative practices
- Knowledge of financial crime typologies, emerging threats, and regulatory expectations related to anti-money laundering, fraud, economic sanctions, and illicit finance risks
- Experience developing and leveraging relationships with law enforcement, regulatory, and industry partners
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders, government agencies, law enforcement partners, and external stakeholders
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and insights, and communicate recommendations
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Power Point
- Experience leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies to support risk management objectives
