Supervisor, Physical Therapy – Health and Wellness Center, Iselin, New Jersey. Requisition # Shift: Day. Full Time with Benefits.

The Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of staff therapists, therapist assistants, and support personnel as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities- Collects and records patient care data following regulatory and payer guidelines, including exam, evaluation, daily notes, progress reports, discharge plans, billing and documentation.
- Prepares for evaluation in accordance with department policies, obtains patient history, selects and administers tests and measures, and synthesizes results to formulate diagnosis, goals, prognosis and plan of care.
- Establishes and adjusts treatment plans, collaborates with patients and the interdisciplinary team, identifies need for consultations, completes discharge plans, and provides education.
- Ensures clinical staff competence through orientation, ongoing supervision, performance appraisals, education plans and scheduling.
- Leads initiatives and projects within the department, ensuring timely execution and regulatory compliance.
- Functional Training – gait, locomotion, therapeutic activities, community re‑integration, ADLs/IADLs, work injury management, equipment prescription.
- Musculoskeletal Interventions – therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, joint mobilizations.
- Neurological Interventions – handling techniques, neuro‑developmental training, neuromuscular re‑education, cognitive rehab, behavioral management, spasticity management, vestibular therapy.
- Other duties – airway clearance techniques, integumentary repair, cardiac rehab monitoring.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy education program or equivalent.
- Physical Therapist license.
- Demonstrated ability and interest in supervision and management.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
- Physical Therapist License.
Minimum rate of $ annually.
