Position OverviewThe Registered Dietitian, Diabetes serves as a key member of the Comprehensive Diabetes Team of the Pediatric Subspecialty Endocrinology Diabetes Team, providing general diabetes education and diabetes nutrition education in accordance to ADA guidelines. This includes completing comprehensive patient assessments, formulating a plan of care in collaboration with other disciplines, and appropriate and accurate documentation in the medical record.

As a member of our team, you will help redefine healthcare accessibility, providing world‑class, convenient care for people traveling throughout the Northeast, including New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. This state‑of‑the‑art, 60,000-square‑foot facility will offer a wide array of services, including primary care, urgent care, advanced imaging, and specialists.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited institution, meeting the didactic requirements of the Academy of Nutrition and Diabetes.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with managing patients on insulin pumps and use of CGMS systems. May be required in some departments.
- One year of endocrinology, primary care of diabetes-related experience.
- Must currently be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and maintain 75 continuing education credits every 5 years in the area of nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy.
- Certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist through the American Diabetes Association or Equivalent.
