Trigyn direct client has long term contract opportunity for Business Analyst in Woodbridge, NJ. The particulars of the position are as follows.

NOTE:

The client is looking for someone around 2-4 years of experience who can understand and analyze business processes. Integration and migration experience are big pluses!

Description:

The consultant will play a key role gathering Business, Stakeholder, functional and technical requirements, conducting data mapping, preparing test plans and scripts, executing testing, assisting with completion of documents, assisting with stakeholder communications.

Duties include:

• Proactive in eliciting requirements for process transformation initiatives
• Lead or guide business stakeholders in laying out future processes
• Create business, stakeholder, and solution requirements
• Assist business stakeholders with transition approaches or requirements
• Create business Process flow documents
• Create Technical Requirements document
• Create Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Create data mapping documents and Technical Interface specification for electronic files (e-files)
• Create test strategy, scenarios, and scripts
• Interact with outside vendors
• Assist team with stakeholder communications
• Assist team with completion of provided Business Impact Assessment and Technology Impact Assessment forms
• Weekly status reports. Meeting agendas, materials, and minutes for weekly meetings.
• Create and/or assist in creation of business case where required

• 3-4 years of Business Analysis experience. Be well-versed in developing business, stakeholder, and detailed requirements ? functional and technical.
• Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, JAD/RAD sessions, use case development, process flow diagrams
• Proactive and experienced in requirements elicitation techniques
• Understanding of gap analysis
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A deep understanding of technical concepts, principles, and terminology.
• Ability to work in a team environment with both employees and consultants is a must.
• Ability to communicate effectively across many different levels of technical and business teams.
• Ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders
• Superior presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proven management and organizational skills.
• Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments.

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field would be ideal.

• Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate smoothly with business / stakeholders. Able to be calm and collected while interacting with a variety of team members.
