Security Architect

Lawrence Harvey has partnered with a leading financial institution. This organization is known to have an extensive international network that covers financial and businesses centers all over the world.

Note: This is a full time, permanent hire position. The appropriate professional will be located in the Tri-State area and have the ability to commute to their New Jersey office 2-3 days a week.

We cannot do C2C or visa transfer for this position at this time.

This Security Architect will focus on cloud security architecture and design. This Security Architect will on securing the organizations cloud environment and work in tandem with other architects and teams to reassure the security of the organizations cloud infrastructure. They will be the go-to SME for container security.

• Collaborate with Security and Enterprise Architects to implement technical solutions for legacy systems
• Oversee architecture and design for all aspects of security infrastructure, enterprise and business applications
• Secure the organization's container technologies
• Build and implement operational capabilities for the security organization
• Oversee and troubleshoot security issues and collaborate with the Incident Response and Forensics team
• Generate risk reports and present to senior management for, but not limited to, the following: security incidents, system vulnerabilities and compliance.

• Experiences with Cloud design and application migrations – Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Be familiar with Dev Sec Ops  environment - AWS Cloud Formation, Lambda functions, Terraform
• Must have experience securing either of the following:
  Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, EKS
• Hands-on technical experience with the following: IDS, SIEM, Network Security, Application Security, Endpoint Security
• Experience with networking protocols, IP networking and exposure the following technologies:
  Encryption, AV, DNS, Email, Wireless, VPNs, PKI, Firewalls, IDS, Proxies, NAC, SIEM
• Exposure to Linux & Windows operating system

• On-prem to cloud migration experience
• Background working within Financial Services
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC
