Senior Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of the Cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM) support teams. The ideal candidate will have proactive leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical curiosity, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC & Chandler, AZ

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage IAM projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Manage broad IAM initiatives and targeted remediation efforts, maintaining awareness of SLAs and upcoming deadlines.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to understand and challenge solution designs.
• Facilitate design reviews, requirement gathering, and technical discussions, supporting teams with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Excel.
• Deliver projects aligned with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GLBA, and internal audit standards, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

What's Needed?

• 5–8+ years of project management experience within technology, cybersecurity, or identity and access management domains.
• Experience supporting or working within IAM programs, including access provisioning, authentication, and governance processes.
• Regulatory project management experience, especially with SOX, GLBA, or internal audits.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex themes clearly.
• Proficiency in Jira, Excel, and project tracking tools; background in Big 4 consulting or similar structured environments preferred.
