Stefanini Group is looking for a Deskside Technician II for a globally recognized company!
Responsibilities- Supporting IT equipment in a large corporate environment
- Desktop/laptop tech support (Mac and PC)
- Windows 11 operating systems
- Support mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless, VPN, etc.
- IMAC Support – IT equipment install/move/add/change
- Maintain repairs, spare parts, and components
- Research and troubleshoot problems
- Maintain system configurations and documentation
- Track and resolve customer incidents and requests through the client’s ticketing tool
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows devices
- Backup, restoration, and migration of user data
- Smart Hands support with networking, server, and telecommunications technologies
- Printer and peripheral device support
- Inventory management of IT assets including asset auditing
- Research and follow appropriate KB articles
- Work on‑call and other after‑hours support needs
- Provide executive support as required
- Various other deskside tasks
- Provide support at other client locations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience supporting Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, smart phones, AV conferencing systems, printers and PC hardware
- Maintain a positive attitude under stressful conditions
- Experience supporting remote facilities and users
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
- In‑depth research and troubleshooting for complex technical issues
- Prioritize and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Walk, bend, stand for long hours, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- High School Diploma (required)
- Deskside/desktop/end‑user computer experience in a corporate environment
- Handle challenging, rapid‑response user support
- Balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
- A+ Certification
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- ITIL Foundations
- Lean Six Sigma
- Provide L2 deskside support (end‑user computing and on‑site network issues)
- Experience supporting labs, including Lab IT and instruments
- Client‑site imaging of computers for Windows 11
- Product field support (system hardware and software)
- Specialized skill or multi‑skilled through formal training and experience
- Handle complex assignments and occasional deviations from standard practice
- Attendance and schedule adherence are required
- Break/fix hardware/software support services at the onsite client
- Installation and upgrading of hardware and software
- 1–3 years related experience
- Knowledge of multiple manufacturers and operating systems
- Excellent troubleshooting capability
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Communicate technical information to technical audiences
- Complete assignments with no supervision
- Search internally/externally for support information
- Customer‑oriented attitude
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance if travel is required
- Continuous walking, bending, lifting equipment up to 50 pounds, and connecting computer equipment
- Apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the field of specialization
