Job Summary:We are seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead our Underwriting Transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, tracking OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-team management skills, expertise in modern project management tools, and a proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of underwriting transformation projects, ensuring delivery against defined OKRs and KPIs.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize project plans, timelines, and resource allocations using tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Azure Dev Ops, Rally, or equivalent.
- Track and manage complex project dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Establish and monitor data-driven metrics, dashboards, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, sprint planning, and project reviews.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level updates and presentations, highlighting project performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure project deliverables meet regulatory, compliance, and business requirements.
- Manage team capacity and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing workloads across multiple projects and teams.
- Use data and analytics to forecast resource needs, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments to meet project goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agile delivery, and data-driven decision-making within the transformation team.
Qualifications
Compensation:The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below the listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but not limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment.
Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards.
$120,000 - $130,000
Skills and Requirements:- 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within insurance operations or underwriting transformation.
- Demonstrated expertise in cross-team management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong proficiency in project management and collaboration tools:
Jira, Jira Align, Azure Dev Ops, Rally, or similar. - Proven experience in tracking and reporting on OKRs, KPIs, and other performance metrics.
- Ability to manage complex dependencies and resource allocation across multiple teams and projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
