The Senior Analyst, Customs Compliance is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within the transportation and logistics industry. They develop and implement compliance programs, monitor compliance activities, and provide guidance to mitigate risks. The Senior Analyst also plays a critical role in maintaining a strong ethical culture and promoting regulatory compliance throughout the organization.

• Outline processes and documentation for support.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations supporting Cargo Wise reports and ACE portal.
• Maintain and manage customer‑service requests by internal stakeholders.
• Provide production‑application support as needed.
• Manage and monitor existing functionalities and define new functionality to ensure application integrity and optimization.
• Interface with internal and external technical staff and stakeholders to define application solutions, resolve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Support and generate reports for management decision‑making.
• Support brokerage business through Cargo Wise application.
• Support the business/sales organization during tender/RFQ processes related to customer integration from a business perspective.
• Act as the first point of contact for local business/sales organization when an integration or adjustment is requested.
• Create technical documentation of system components and processes.
• Define and create test scenarios for messages related to integration (inbound & outbound).
• Perform User Acceptance Tests (UAT) within the agreed timeline.
• Act as first point of contact for business after go‑live, monitor, troubleshoot, and create incidents for any issues during hyper‑care phase.

• Strong understanding of brokerage.
• Experience with SQL, ERP, and databases.
• Understanding of third‑party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management (preferred).
• Knowledge of leading industry technologies with strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and technological usage/alternatives in a multi‑platform environment.
• Thorough understanding of XML and EDI.
• General understanding of the supply chain management concepts including Forwarding, US Customs, MQ, AMS, ABI, ACH, Drawback, Declarations, Commercial Invoicing, Manifests, Bookings, Purchase Orders, HTS, and ISF.
• General understanding of export procedures (plus).
• PC literacy with command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
• Minimum 1–2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Base salary range: $86,500 – $129,500 per year, determined by knowledge, skills, experience, location, and business considerations.
