Senior Analyst, Customs Compliance

Responsibilities

• Responsible for outlining processes and documentation for support
• Oversees the day‑to‑day operational supporting Cargo Wise reports and ACE portal support
• Maintains and manages customer service requests by internal stakeholders
• Provides production applications support as needed
• Manages and monitors existing functionalities and defines new functionality
• Interfaces with internal and external technical staff and stakeholders to define application solutions, problem resolution and troubleshooting
• Support and generate reports for management informed decisions
• Support brokerage business through Cargo Wise application
• Supports business/sales organization during tender/RFQ process
• Define and create test scenarios for messages related to the integration request
• Perform User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
• Acts as the first point of contact for business after Go‑live
• Monitor, troubleshoot and create incident for any issue during hyper‑care phase

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of Brokerage
• Experience with SQL, ERP, databases
• Understanding of 3rd party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management
• Knowledge of leading industry technologies
• Strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environment
• Thorough understanding of XML and EDI
• General understanding of the SCM including Forwarding, US Customs, MQ, AMS, ABI, ACH, Drawback, Declarations, Commercial Invoicing, Manifests, Bookings, Purchase Orders, HTS, ISF.
• General understanding of Export is a plus
• PC literacy with a command of MS Office to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc.
