Senior MarTech Manager

• Own the evolution of Verizon’s Martech strategy and personalization across customer channels
• Evolve Pega Decisioning and Real Time Marketing platforms, including architecture and decisioning strategy
• Scale the Marketing Technology stack to support agentic personalization goals
• Lead technical strategy discussions and align technical execution with business needs
• Lead large-group working sessions and make trade-offs based on business impact and technical feasibility
• Synchronize decisioning logic across data warehouses, digital storefronts, retail systems, Adobe, and other Mar Tech platforms
• Create executive narratives and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations
• Translate technical execution into strategic business impact for senior and executive leadership
• Bridge business strategy and technical delivery teams
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to integrate AI and Machine Learning models
• Establish standards for translating business problems into technical requirements and reducing time-to-market
• Define and track conversion, retention, eligibility-accuracy, latency, and other success metrics
• Build measurement frameworks linking technical deployments to business value and partner on reporting dashboards
• Convert performance reports into executive-level analytics and identify performance‑tuning roadmap requirements
• Lead technical delivery squads of 30-50 people through complex iterative cycles
• Manage and mentor an internal team of decisioning Product Owners
• Drive cross-functional alignment across VBG business and technical leadership

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Six or more years of marketing technology and strategy experience, with a focus on Mar Tech, Adobe, and Pega
• Experience leading marketing technology teams focused on both strategy and technology
• Experience building PowerPoint storytelling decks
• Experience delivering exec-ready presentations to senior leadership
• Experience leading large-scale technical working sessions with technical and business peers
• Experience managing a large internal team
• Deep familiarity with Pega or similar decisioning engines
• Deep familiarity with Mar Tech tools such as the Adobe and Google suite
• Eight or more years of total experience, specifically within the Telecommunications industry or Mar Tech field
• Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks and personalization at scale
• Background in coding or data analytics, including SQL and Python
• Proven experience in Save or Retention strategy and automated offer decisioning and outbound marketing
• Two or more years in a leadership or managerial role leading 3+ direct reports
• Ability to reside within commuting distance of a listed work location
• Master’s degree or MBA in a technical or business-related field preferred as an even-better qualification

Demonstrates expertise in Marketing Technology strategy and execution, with a strong focus on Pega and Adobe platforms. Capable of leading cross-functional teams to integrate AI and Machine Learning for personalized marketing solutions.
