About the Company: Data One Construction specializes in large-scale data centers and industrial electrical construction projects. We deliver cutting-edge electrical infrastructure for mission-critical facilities, working with the latest technology and systems in the industry.

Position Overview: The BUYER will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, tools, and services to support electrical contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, knowledge of construction/electrical materials, and the ability to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for multiple projects
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and quality
• Track orders, deliveries, and inventory to meet project timelines
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to forecast needs and resolve supply chain challenges
• Maintain organized procurement records and reports

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (construction or electrical industry preferred)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management or ERP systems a plus
• Experience with Procore or Odoo helpful
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
