The Starbucks General Manager will oversee daily operations at the Woodbridge, NJ location, ensuring exceptional guest service, team engagement, and store performance. This full-time, on-site role involves leading and developing a team, managing inventory, maintaining compliance with company standards, and achieving financial goals. Additional responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating team members, monitoring sales and performance, and implementing effective strategies for business growth and customer satisfaction.
The General Manager will also ensure health and safety protocols are followed and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and employees.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience in hiring, training, and performance management
- Proven operational and organizational skills, with the ability to handle scheduling, inventory management, and financial targets
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for both guests and team members
- Ability to comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards in a food retail environment
- Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic retail setting
- Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably within the food service or hospitality industry
- Proficiency in basic financial management and reporting
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a degree in business management or a related field is a plus
