Multi-Plastics Extrusions, Inc. is a leader in the Plastic Extrusions field. We are seeking applicants for an Warehouse - Production Floor Extrusion Packer for our Production Department at the Avenel, NJ Plant.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Extrusion Packer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing extruded products, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is essential to the production process and offers an opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic industrial setting.
Responsibilities- Dedication and willingness to learn about the manufacturing process
- Carefully pack extruded materials according to specified guidelines and quality standards
- Great Communication Skills
- Maintain Cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Bilingual a Great Plus!
- Inspect Products for defects or inconsistencies before packing
- Operate Packing equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols
- Label and Document packed products accurately for inventory management
- Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Assist with loading finished products onto pallets or containers for shipment
- Follow Production Schedules to meet daily packing quotas
- Must be willing to work both day and night shifts
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate packing and labeling
- Ability to operate basic machinery and tools used in the packing process
- Work effectively as a team and adherence to safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Prior experience in manufacturing or packaging is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Pay:
From $16.50 per hour PLUS benefits.
