Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in school bus repair and mechanical knowledge. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

* Job is going to be either in Lakewood or Neptune*

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in school buses
• Perform routine maintenance on buses to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize power tools and welding equipment to complete repairs and modifications as needed.
• Inspect critical components for wear and damage.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on equipment.

• Proven experience in school bus repair or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of equipment.
• Proficiency in using power tools and welding techniques.
• Ability to diagnose issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
