Sr. Python Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with 9+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building cloud-native applications, microservices, APIs, data processing solutions, and enterprise integrations while working in Agile environments. The candidate should be capable of driving technical solutions from architecture through deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Python 3.x, leveraging Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, multithreading, multiprocessing, scripting, automation, exception handling, and performance optimization techniques.
• Build, deploy, and support highly scalable RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices architectures using frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI, while ensuring security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize backend services that integrate with internal and external systems through APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services including Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, SNS, and SQS, as well as Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Dev Ops, with exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) being highly desirable.
• Create and maintain large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions using Pandas, Num Py, PySpark, Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem technologies, and ETL/ELT frameworks to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives.

• Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git, Git Hub, Git Lab, Jenkins, and Azure Dev Ops, ensuring automated build, test, deployment, and release management processes.
• Containerize and orchestrate enterprise applications using Docker and Kubernetes, while leveraging Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive automated testing solutions using Py Test , unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks while utilizing Sonar Qube and code quality tools to maintain high standards for code coverage and software quality.
• Work extensively within Linux/Unix environments, utilizing Shell Scripting and Bash scripting to automate application deployment, operational support, and system administration activities.
• Design and implement secure application architectures while ensuring adherence to enterprise security, governance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Leverage modern cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, and Amazon Redshift to develop scalable data warehousing, analytics, and reporting solutions.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate advanced technologies such as Machine Learning, Scikit-Learn, Tensor Flow, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Lang Chain, OpenAI, and Azure OpenAI into enterprise applications where applicable.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning while contributing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 9+ years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale Python application development projects.
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with globally distributed teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or other large enterprise environments is highly preferred.
