Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will combine strong software development expertise with quality engineering skills to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software. The SDET will work closely with developers, product managers, and Dev Ops teams throughout the SDLC to build scalable test automation and improve software reliability.

• * Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, Mobile, and Database testing.
• * Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, UI, End-to-End, and Performance testing.
• * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or Git Lab CI.
• * Execute automated test suites as part of continuous integration.
• * Perform REST API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• * Automate UI testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• * Write SQL queries to validate backend databases and data integrity.
• * Collaborate with developers during design, implementation, and code reviews.
• * Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
• * Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
• * Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• * Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and recommend preventive solutions.
• * Ensure software quality, performance, scalability, and security through automation.

• * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• * 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• * Experience with Selenium Web Driver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• * Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or Rest Assured.
• * Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• * Experience with TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or PyTest.
• * Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, and version control systems.
• * Experience working with Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI/CD.
• * Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• * Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• * Security testing concepts
• * Kafka or RabbitMQ
