Stand-Up Forklift Operators

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: STAND-UP FORKLIFT OPERATOR IN PORT READING, NJ

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team in Port Reading, New Jersey. This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of stand-up equipment to facilitate the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Starting at $19/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
• Located in Port Reading, New Jersey

• Equipment Operation:
  Safely and skillfully operate a Raymond stand-up forklift to move, stack, and stage materials, including pallets, throughout the warehouse
• Logistics & Handling:
  Efficiently load and unload trailers and containers; move inventory to appropriate storage locations
• Inventory Accuracy:
  Assist with picking and putting away orders, potentially utilizing RF scanners to log inventory movements and ensure real-time stock visibility
• Safety & Maintenance:
  Conduct mandatory pre-shift equipment inspections, report any maintenance or safety issues immediately, and adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Facility Upkeep:
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing debris and ensuring walkways remain clear

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1 year of recent, hands-on experience operating a Raymond stand-up forklift or reach truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
• Skills:
  
  Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team; strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines
• Communication:
  Proficiency in English or bilingual English/Spanish
• Reliability:
  Must have reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
