Baker, Mixer Operator for Food Company - Woodbridge

Our client, a leading Food and Bakery company, is seeking skilled Bakers/Mixer Operators tojoin their team and start as soon as possible.

We are looking for reliable workers who can work night shifts and looking for long term positions in a Bakery company. Food industry experince is preferred.

Full time, Temporary ongoing positions.

Location:

Woodbridge, ON (Hwy 27 and Hwy
7)
Pay rate: $18.60 per hour plus 4% vacation pay

Shifts:

Night: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am and 12:00 am - 8:00 am (Mon to Fri night every week)

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Production:
  Measure and weigh ingredients, mix, knead, shape, and bake doughs and batters. Set up equipment and pre-scale ingredients and monitor processing activities.
• Quality & Creativity:
  Monitor oven temperatures, inspect products for quality, and create or adapt recipes to meet customer demands.
• Decoration:
  Apply icing, glazes, toppings, and fillings to baked goods, such as cakes and pastries.
• Sanitation & Safety:
  Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe work area, including cleaning equipment and following health regulations.
• Inventory & Organization:
  Maintain adequate supplies, rotate products for freshness, and manage inventory levels.
• General Labour, & Production duties while working on production lines, Palletizing, putting labels on boxes, taping up boxes, general housekeeping.
• Experience with Food, Restaurants or Kitchen industry is preferred.

Requirements:

• Experience with Food, Restaurants or Kitchen industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for decorating and following recipes.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working with hot equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle flexible hours as required.
• Picking and packing products as assigned.
• Follow all GMP guidelines and H&S rules.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English well.
• Must be physically fit and able to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a loud, hot and fast paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours shift and can wear CSA Approved safety shoes while working.
• Comfortable working with food & baking products.
• General cleaning of plant areas.
• Health & Safety conscious.
• Must be able to work full time 40 hours per week as per scheduled shifts.
• Full understanding of tasks assigned and able to do them.
