Framing Carpenter — Sonoma Carpentry Ltd

Location:

Woodbridge, ON. On-site work. Permanent, full-time position. Salary: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour (to be negotiated).

Schedule:

30 to 50 hours per week; starts as soon as possible.

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

• Work site:
  Construction, Residential
• Work conditions:
  At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Outdoors

• No degree, certificate or diploma

5 years or more

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
• Working at heights training
• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

• Hand tools
• Tools and safety gear; steel-toed boots; hard hat; safety vest

• Own transportation

• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Handling heavy loads
