Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and standards
- Prepare, review, and process journal entries and reconciliations for general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts and investment transactions to the general ledger
- Perform detailed calculations, reconciliations, and analyses to support audit work papers and reporting requirements
- Assist with collection of outstanding receivables and preparation of reimbursement schedules
- Provide backup support for other accounting roles as needed
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation for audit readiness
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and financial documents as required
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
- Assist with special projects, ad hoc reporting, and other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of related experience required, would consider 3 years of experience if coming from public accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Large ERP Systems experience
- Proficient experience in Excel (Pivot tables, v look ups) and MS Office Suite
- Experience with complex reconciliations
- Experience supporting audit work papers and compliance schedules
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
