Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Position Overview
The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring our patrons receive the best and highest quality consultations and guidance with regard to their medical cannabis needs. This role is charged with ensuring patient care through consultations runs smoothly, efficiently, complies with state regulations, complies with company policies, and supports the company’s initiatives. Compliance, compassion, and quality care are core focuses for our Pharmacist.
Responsibilities- Lead by example through being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace, and energy
- Mentor, motivate, elevate, and inspire managers and store staff through continual training on compliance, products, and company best practices
- Adhere to and promote the company culture of positivity, professionalism, and compliance with policies and state regulations
- Conduct over-the-phone and in-person consultations and follow‑ups to ensure that patients and caregivers receive accurate and helpful information in a caring and compassionate way
- Follow policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, patient and visitor management, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
- Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
- Identify and develop process improvements to assist with company growth
- Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints while interfacing with the Store Manager and the Regional Manager
- Report any issues or complaints relating to the product to the Manager, Quality and Compliance Manager, and the Director of Operations in real‑time
- Assist with onboarding and training of new Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
- Must hold an active Virginia Pharmacy license and be a registered medical professional with the Board of Pharmacy
- Must be willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background check

- MS Office proficient with the ability to utilize and navigate multiple software platforms with ease
- Knowledge of cannabis
