Dance Instructor
The SBDCRC School of Dance at Prince William County, Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for additional dance instructors for our 2026 – 2027 school year. Our growing program is family-friendly and community-oriented, offering high quality dance instruction for beginner through advanced students. Teacher training will begin in August. Classes start after Labor Day and run through the end of June.
This is a part time position. Skills must include at least one or two of the following:
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Creative Movement. Preferred skills include strong ballet technique, versatility in training, and ability to teach multiple disciplines. Instructors are required to follow a curriculum. Excellent communication skills are a must. All teaching tools will be provided and classes will be taught in a dance studio at the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center.
The Department of Parks and Recreation conducts DMV records checks on all employees driving for work purposes and criminal background checks on all hires aged 18 years and older.
