• Hold an associate degree or the equivalent of two years of college, or successful completion of Parapro assessment or higher.
• Have demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, students and parents.
• Possess general knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques used in the classroom, particularly in the area of teaching literacy.

An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work at the school.

This temporary position provides supplemental tutoring, under the direction of the school's reading specialist, to students identified as needing additional support in foundational literacy skills. The duration of the assignment is dependent on program needs and the availability of funding.

SY + college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education - $22.25/hour Temporary VDOE Licensed and retired PWCS teachers - $35.41/hour
