Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and adhering to all regulations and guidelines. Deliver quality patient care, including ongoing treatment, supervision of rehab techs, and case management. Maintain professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Optimize patients' functional abilities under OT supervision
- Develop and strengthen the occupational therapy assistant program
- Enhance clinical and management skills through interaction, self-study, and continuing education
- Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on relevant issues
- Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery methods to provide quality, compliant care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions
