Mobile Crisis Coordinator – VA REACH Team
Are you a licensed or license‑eligible clinician with a passion for helping others find stability and hope during life’s most challenging moments? At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), an inclusive organization, we are seeking an empathetic and dedicated Mobile Crisis Coordinator to support individuals through and after crisis as part of our VA REACH team in Northern Virginia. This role is a chance to play a vital part in addressing the growing mental health needs of our communities and making a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to behavioral health crises for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), meeting them in a comfortable environment to facilitate service engagement, stabilization, and resolution when possible.
- Provide community stabilization sessions, build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies, and coordinate admissions for crisis homes.
- Serve on a rotating on‑call schedule to ensure help is always within reach.
- Travel to Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William VA; candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to one of these locations.
- Competitive salary: $61,000 – $70,000 (based on licensure and experience).
- Sign‑on and retention bonus: $5,000 for licensed/eligible new hires; $2,000 for QMHP new hires, paid after 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.

- Supervision for licensure.
- Full‑time schedule options: 12‑hour shifts 9 a.m.–9 p.m. (Sun–Wed) or 1 four‑hour shift, plus a 3½‑day schedule for work/life balance.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and a full QMHP; licensed or license‑eligible as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred. - Skill set:
Crisis intervention, adaptability, problem‑solving, and decision‑making. - Minimum 1 year’s experience with mental health populations and I/DD preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation for work‑related travel.
- Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Suite, and general technical competency.
