Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance operations and ensure our community is in great shape. You will manage a team, handle repairs, keep track of budgets, and follow safety standards.
What You Will Do- Lead the maintenance team – Supervise and support a skilled crew across one or more communities.
- Coordinate daily operations – Schedule tasks, ensure homes are ready to rent, oversee after-hours assignments, and complete service orders on time.
- Stay on budget – Develop and follow maintenance budgets while monitoring spending.
- Inspect and maintain the community – Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, conduct property inspections, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Foster strong relationships – Work with residents, team members, and vendors to create a well‑maintained, welcoming environment.
- Ensure compliance and safety – Follow policies and company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Tackle special projects – Assist with additional responsibilities and property improvements as needed.
- Strong leadership skills – Experience in managing, training, and motivating a maintenance team.
- Technical expertise – Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Problem‑solving abilities – Able to handle emergencies and high‑pressure situations confidently.
- Dependability and flexibility – Available for emergency repairs when needed.
- Ability to perform physical tasks – Able to climb up to 40 feet, lift heavy objects, distinguish colors, and work in various conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in facility maintenance.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely.
