Beacon is a successful national behavioral health company providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe mental illness, autism, and high‑acuity behaviors. PositionSummary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Beacon homes to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment. This role supports dayavad operations by methodically maintaining facility standards and addressing maintenance issues in a timely manner.

- Preserve and protect privacy, confidentiality and security of all medical records and other confidential information in accordance with all applicable laws (including HIPAA) and contract terms.
- Promote Beacon in a positive manner and lead by example, modeling core values in everyday behavior.
- Monitor and correct employee gossip, harassment, favoritism and other negative workplace behaviors to ensure a positive and productive environment.
- Understand how to approach and communicate with everyone at all levels.
- Treat everyone with dignity and respect while nakoɹresponding to their needs.
- Apply trauma‑informed care principles, recognizing the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledging the role trauma may play.
- Follow Beacon’s policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Cooperate with Beacon Specialized Living, the Department of Human Services, and other regulatory bodies during inspections, investigations or inquiries.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance or a related field.
