Facilities Manager

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years facility related work experience
• 3 years management or supervisory experience
• Knowledgeable in facilities, utilities, and production infrastructure and environmental requirements
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple activities
• Good communication, organizational, problem solving, and listening skills
• Proficiency using Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word

• Excellent planning and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An eye for detail
• Ability to make decisions, manage change, motivate, delegate, and manage time
• Great problem solving and decision-making skills

• Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Provides oversight and selection of subcontracted work.
• Protects company assets by monitoring facility security, yard condition, exterior lighting, and perimeter fencing.
• Manages inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Manages all building security needs, including card access and security camera systems.
• Establishes and communicates health and safety procedures in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Demonstrates full technical knowledge of facility systems and preventative maintenance practices.
• Collaborates and coordinates with management staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Supports development or improvement of existing and future facility projects.
• Other duties as required.
