Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator – Freestanding Emergency Department

Full Time & Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Woodbridge, VA

• RN-Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• RN-Master’s Degree (preferred)

• Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN license in good standing
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire
• BLS within 90 days of hire

• 18 months nursing experience required; BSN required;
  Master’s degree preferred. If the graduate degree is not in nursing, BSN is required.
• 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience (preferred)

Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increases staff satisfaction and promotes excellent customer service.
