Education- Minimum MLD – Master’s Level Degree (required)
- 3 years clinical experience (required)
- Perioperative experience (preferred)
The Nursing Professional Development Specialist is a registered nurse responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff and healthcare teams. Key duties include teaching advanced clinical skills, fostering professional development, ensuring adherence to evidence‑based practices, designing training materials, providing mentorship, and conducting in‑service education sessions to enhance nursing knowledge and performance.
QualificationsRegistered Nurse with advanced clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to enhancing nursing education and patient care. A valid RN license in the relevant state(s) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for Intermediate and Critical Care units.
