Desired Qualifications
  • Active RN license in good standing (state compact licensure is a plus)
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in scrub and circulating roles for cardiovascular surgeries
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow RNs to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient responses throughout the surgical process
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
  • Assist in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of specialized cardiovascular equipment
