Overview

Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for delivering competent nursing care using the nursing process. The RN performs assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. Professional performance standards include ethics, cultural congruence, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, research, quality improvement, resource utilization, and environmental health.

First (Days)

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science Nursing (MSN) – preferred
• Students currently completing an accredited nursing program

• Registered Nursing License – required
• Students currently obtaining a Registered Nursing License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
