Overview:
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 14 week temporary position with 12 hour shifts (36 hours per week) from 1 PM to 1 AM. This is a "primary" position with required flexibility in scheduling.

Salary: $80/hr

Requirements:

Education:

Associate's Degree – Nursing, Bachelor's Degree – Nursing, or Diploma in Nursing

Certification/Licensure:
Required and all current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, Registered Nurse license eligible to practice in VA

Experience:

At least 2 years of recent hospital emergency department as an RN required; EPIC user strongly preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice and professional performance encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
