Perform a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process
Conduct assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation
Demonstrate professional performance in ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health
Apply clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards required by the clinical area
Provide nursing care in the Stepdown / Intermediate Care Unit on day shifts
Work as a registered nurse traveler on a 14-week temporary assignment
- RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN
- Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- At least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in STEPDOWN / INTERMEDICATE CARE UNIT
- EPIC documentation system experience required
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
- Ability to meet and maintain requirements defined by the specific specialty
Demonstrates comprehensive nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation in a Stepdown/Intermediate Care Unit. Holds a valid RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, with proficiency in EPIC documentation.
