Position Summary3>

• Provides member service.
• Maintains the checkout area.
• Resolves member issues and concerns.
• Promotes Sam's Club products and services.
• Provides guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology.
• Processes member purchases.
• Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
• Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise.
• Corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
• Maintains entrance areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs.
• Assists members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
• Promotes company products and services.
• Zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise.
• Assists members with transporting items and maintains a safe shopping environment.
• Maintains exit areas and reviews member receipts.
• Assists with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity per company policies and procedures.
• Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Executes emergency response procedures.
• Ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
• Teaches new technology and tool functionality.
• Delivers new programs rollout training.
• Provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Identifies shrink and damages.
• Implements action plans, uses Open Door Policy, and applies these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources.
• Collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
• Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks and communicates progress.
• Determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
