Nelson Coleman Jewelers has been part of Maryland families for generations - helping people mark engagements, anniversaries, milestones, and the quiet "just because" moments that matter most. Jewelry By Designs is our expansion into Virginia, and we're bringing that same legacy with us.

Our clients aren't just shopping. They're trusting us with something important. We take that seriously, and we hire people who do too: warm, genuine, and proud of the work they do.

• Welcome clients and take the time to understand what they're really looking for
• Guide guests through our collections - from $100 to $100,000 - with patience and care
• Build lasting relationships through personalized follow-up and genuine attention
• Learn fine jewelry and gemstones (we teach you everything - no prior experience needed)
• Support daily store operations as a true team player

Most of your day is spent with people. If that energizes you, you'll thrive here.

• You have at least 1 year of experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role
• People describe you as warm, attentive, and easy to talk to
• You enjoy learning and take pride in becoming genuinely knowledgeable
• You're organized, reliable, and comfortable with basic technology
• You want work that feels meaningful - not just a paycheck

No jewelry experience required. We've brought people in from all kinds of backgrounds and built them into confident sales consultants. What we can't teach is genuine care for people - that has to come from you.
