- An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
- This position requires a full background investigation conducted by the Security and Crisis Readiness Department.
- 7.5 hours per day
This position is focused on preventing crime within the Prince William County School system rather than investigating and apprehending. The security officer will investigate school incidents by talking with students to determine specifics about what happened. The role is responsible for the safety and security of an assigned school, including patrolling parking lots, school entryways and hallways, and protecting students, staff and property.
SalaryHiring Range: $25.09 - $40.18/hour ($36,697 - $58,762/year)
