Join our team at the Mac Laren Facility as an
** Executive Support Specialist!
** In this dynamic role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to the facility, with primary responsibility for processing youth payroll, coordinating grievances and subpoenas, maintaining official records and correspondence, and supporting records management operations. You will serve as a key liaison between departments—including HR, IT/IS, and facility staff—while overseeing hiring and onboarding processes from interview coordination through new hire setup.
This position also supervises unit support staff, manages manager calendars and communications, supports event planning initiatives, and ensures compliance with JJIS security access and administrative procedures.
Three years of clerical/secretarial experience which included: one year at a full performance level performing typing, word processing, or other generating of documents;
** AND
* * Lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures
* Skill in making independent judgments and decisions.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of agency or personnel records.
* Ability to learn agency programs, operations, policies, and procedures.
* Highly adaptable and responsive to changing priorities.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Displays emotional intelligence, fostering professional and effective working relationships.
