Tactical Security Officer - Entry Level

Job Description

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer at the Woodburn, Oregon site. The role involves patrolling retail stores, airports, detention centers, and other environments to spot suspicious activity, control access, respond to incidents, verify identities, and collaborate with law enforcement.

Location: Woodburn, Oregon

Schedule: Full‑time, Tuesday through Thursday, 12 a.m.–8 a.m.;
Friday and Saturday, 4 p.m.–12 a.m.; 40 hours per week.

Compensation: $18 per hour. Daily Pay available for Garda World employees.

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Employment is contingent on a successful background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
