The Security and Loss Prevention Expert serves as a security and crisis-management subject‑matter expert. The position supports physical-security operations, identifies vulnerabilities, conducts root-cause analysis, leads confidential investigations, and helps implement security best practices across Amazon operations.

• Identify vulnerabilities and use data to determine corrective actions.
• Manage confidential investigations involving theft, fraud, workplace violence, and critical incidents.
• Prepare timely investigative and incident reports.
• Monitor security systems and operational metrics.
• Serve as a liaison between security, site leadership, vendors, and internal partners.
• Support incident‑response planning and security initiatives.
• Conduct physical-security audits and help maintain security infrastructure.
• Lead multiple high‑impact projects and deliver loss‑prevention education.
• Walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 49 pounds when required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or at least four years of relevant professional or military experience.
• At least two years of experience in security services, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement;
  Amazon operational experience may also qualify.

• Risk-management, audit, analytics, inventory-control, quality-assurance, retail, warehouse, distribution, or supply‑chain experience.
• Experience with physical‑security systems and security vendors.
• Investigative interviewing or relevant professional certifications.
• Workplace de‑escalation and business‑continuity planning experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel pivot tables and charts.
