Position: Maintenance Technician 3

Maintenance Technician 3 | Woodburn, OR

$18–$24 per hour, DOE

Full-Time | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Rotating

Schedule:

5 Days On / 2 Days Off

We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician – Shop 3 in Woodburn, Oregon to keep production running efficiently. This position focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, predictive repair, and minimizing downtime. If you’re experienced with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems, this is the perfect role.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety procedures and demonstrate proper LOTO practices.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and scheduled repairs.
  • Provide expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on breakdowns and develop predictive maintenance solutions.
  • Support and mentor other maintenance technicians as a technical resource.
  • Perform emergency repairs and replacement of components as needed.
  • Maintain high and low voltage electrical systems and read schematics.
  • Plan, install, and complete major equipment repairs and installations.
  • Document work in CMMS and ensure compliance with maintenance programs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • Certificate/AA degree in electronics, electro‑mechanical, automation, or maintenance field with 3+ years of experience; OR HS diploma with 7+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or food processing.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, robotics, control systems, and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to work weekends or extended shifts as needed.
  • Motivated, hardworking, and committed to continuous improvement.
