Wilson Construction has an immediate opening for a Welder. This position will work with a team of welders under the direction of the Welder Foreman on specialized welding projects and equipment repairs. We pride ourselves on producing high quality products for our internal customers in a safe work environment.

• High School Diploma
• 1 year minimum welding experience
• Experience with basic welding tools (drill press, band saw, iron worker, cutting torch)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Engineering/Structural aptitude
• Creativity and ability to think outside of the box
• Must be able to follow basic instructions and plans through to completion of projects
• Ability to perform tasks in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry the same for short distances and up and down stairs and steep inclines
• Ability to sit in awkward positions for long periods, stand on a variety of surfaces and at differing angles, bend over, crouch and climb up and over various equipment
