Class A Driver – US Foods

US Foods is one of the largest food distributors. We are looking for Class A Drivers who are flexible and willing to make multi-yard trips to start routes in Oregon.

• Deliver best-in-class customer service and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products with hand trucks and place items in customer storage areas.
• Perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
• Make frequent stops during a work shift.
• Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
• Verify delivery of items with customers.
• Collect money (cash or checks) where needed.

• Early morning start times vary based on route assignment.
• Start times range between 1am and 6am.
• Monday–Saturday availability.
• Average work week 4 or 5 days.
• Routes cover multiple yards in Oregon and may alternate weekly.
• Schedules may include weekends.

• Mileage reimbursement.
• Hotel paid per route assignment needs.
• Meal allowance / per diem.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
• No more than two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations; no DUI convictions in the past three years; no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.

Expected base rate between $31.44 and $34.93 per hour, with overtime compensation as applicable.

• Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement.
